Each Benado unit is a handcrafted work of art, hand-wired and tested one-by-one to the same rigorous standards required by my professional touring and recording clientele. Because I refuse to compromise on the high-grade components necessary for elite signal integrity, lead times are subject to parts availability.   • The Pro

    The Pro is a design that I have been working on for years; a that has all the "essentials" for musicians seeking "multi-" in a box. Easier said than done, considering the plethora of effects that musicians use today. After much feedback, the Pro was created.

    This unit features a Compressor, a low and high gain Overdrive, Delay, Reverb, and Tuner (Peterson Strobostomp Classic). The unit is a great compliment to your favorite stand alone pedals that you just can't live without, which can be implemented via the on-board patch bay. Click on the Effects/Routing and Specs sub-tabs to view detailed information about the intense features of each effect unit.

    ***This is a pre-paid order. All units are handmade and assembled as orders are received. Please allow at least 8-14 weeks to complete your unit.

About Paul Franklin

Paul Franklin is one of the world's most influential pedal steel guitarists. He began his career in the 1970s as a member of Barbara Mandrell's road band and also toured with Vince Gill, Mel Tillis, Jerry Reed, and Dire Straits. Paul has become a prolific session musician in Nashville, playing on thousands of albums.

He has been named by the Academy of Country Music as Best Steel Guitarist several times. He was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2019.

Paul Franklin is the most nominated person in CMA history and is notable for having been nominated for the Country Music Association Award for Musician of the Year more than thirty times.

In addition to the pedal steel guitar and lap steel guitar, Franklin plays Dobro, fiddle, and drums, as well as three custom-built instruments called the Pedabro, The Box, and the baritone steel guitar. Since 2016, Franklin has been offering online steel guitar lessons.
